A senior posted his seed round today.

3 crore raised. 9 crore valuation. I saw it and just replied ,yeah one day I'll raise more than this.

Then I pitched him Plany.

Plany is a smart platform where people can plan projects, manage ideas, and work together easily. It helps teams stay organized and get things done faster with AI. Me and my friend Dampi have been building it for 6 months.

He said:

"Drop it. It will not work. Try to build something different."

And honestly? That hurt.

Not because some random guy said it, but because 6 actual months went into this. And I'm not the guy who copies tutorials and calls it building. I learn every new thing, every AI tool, every tech that makes sense, and then I build with it. That's how I work.

He looked at my landing page and made a call. There's no screenshots on it. No app preview. Nothing that shows what's actually built inside. V1 is 90% done. I'm literally days away from launch.

He judged the cover. Didn't know there was a book.

And that's the thing. When you've already crossed a hard phase, you stop remembering what it felt like from inside it. He's got funding now. He's on the other side. So when he sees a basic landing page from a college kid, he just sees "won't work."

He's not seeing the 6 months. He's not seeing what's coming.

I don't blame him. But it still sat with me.

Because this wasn't the first time.

I've been rejected by 17 accelerators.
